I love beer, bourbon, and scotch. I consider myself a bit of a beer snob, frequenting certain local establishments to taste the best brews from around the world. I'm addicted to green tea and coffee, and not for the caffeine (though it helps). I love new experiences, although it may take some persuading to actually get me to try new things.
Reading, cooking, and exercising are ways for me to relieve stress. To me, there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book, and if not careful, I could easily spend hours doing so. Creating recipes and cooking often allow me an opportunity to have time to myself to be creative. Spending time at the gym on the elliptical has recently become a favorite past time for me. I'm finding there is nothing better to put aside distractions than to turn on some music or Netflix on my phone, and work out for 30 or 40 minutes. (My Little Pony, Phineas and Ferb, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are my favorite guilty pleasures to watch while working out.) I hope as I find more ways to make my life a healthier one, I will be able to share the changes I make through this blog.
