Sean and I have started our lives in the big state of Texas! Got here earlier in the month, had to wait for the movers to bring everything, which took a few weeks unfortunately. Seriously, the air mattresses started to get uncomfortable, but at least we had those. Now our lives are currently a constant state of unpacking, arranging, job hunting and applying (for me), and exploring. And there is a lot of exploring to do here in Dallas!
So far, we've seen the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and the Dallas World Aquarium. However, we've got lists and lists of things to do and see, including the Dallas Zoo, Deep Ellum, the Sixth Floor Museum, take in a Ranger's game, the student affairs professional in me wants to explore all the different college campuses around here. And there is so much food here! Can't wait to try it all, and to try to expand my own collection of recipes with the foods I try.
As things get back in order, I'll get back to posting, which will hopefully be in the next week!

Big News!
Apologies for the lack of posting. Things have gotten a bit crazy, and unfortunately, I've not had much time to everything I would like (or even need) to do.
The big news? My husband has accepted a position, which is requiring us to move from Louisville, KY, to Dallas, TX. It's a very exciting change for us, so I have been busy job hunting and packing, as our official moving date is April 2!
I do have a few various entries that I'm working on, so look for those soon! And thanks for reading!

Pepperoni Pizza Soup
My favorite way to eat this. Yum, garlic and cheese croutons! |
Another Tom+Chee knock-off. (If you can't tell, I really like Tom+Chee.) This one, however, was not one I tried in the restaurant, but one a friend of mine wanted to me to recreate. He secretly left it on my door step on a Friday night while I was out with my husband, leaving a note that I had one week to complete the challenge.
